The Canadian Progress Club – Edmonton Downtown in association with Edmonton Tourism hosted its first annual Rodeo Kids Korral on Saturday, November 7th from 10 AM to 2 PM. This free admission family event consisted of horse drawn wagon rides, live music, and a Kids Zone featuring a petting zoo, marshmallow roasting stations, barrel racing and more!

Attendees also sampled from a hot pancake breakfast, fresh Tim Horton’s coffee and hot chocolate. The event took place in Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park, next to the Old Strathcona Farmers Market off Whyte Avenue, an ideal location with thousands out to enjoy the beautiful fall day.

The event was offered in the spirit of Rodeo Week and the 42nd annual Canadian Finals Rodeo. Proceeds raised were in support of Uncles and Aunts at Large and Adaptabilities, both of which are actively supported by the Canadian Progress Club.
