2019 Capital Classic Pond Hockey Tournament

On Saturday, February 16th, 2019 the Canadian Progress Club Edmonton Downtown chapter will be hosting the 2019 Capital Classic Hockey Tournament on Lake Summerside. It will be an old fashioned 3-on-3 round robin done Canadian style in the great outdoors – next to a beer tent!
50 teams (5 players per team) will be facing off to raise the Capital Classic Cup, and proceeds for two great local children’s charities: Uncles & Aunts at Large and AdaptAbilities.
Families and spectators are welcome! Register A Team and come down to enjoy a day on the ice with friends, heated beer garden, fire pits, live entertainment, and food from our on-site vendors. Plenty of entertainment for the whole family!
Event Details & Schedule
• Equipment required: skates, gloves, sticks and helmets (must be worn during all games).
• Location: Lake Summerside 1720 88 St. SW, Edmonton
• Team Check-in: February 16th , 2019 @ 9 am
• Opening Ceremonies: 9:45 am
• Games Begin: 10 am
• Live Entertainment Begins: 12:00 pm
• Games End: 5 pm
• Beer Gardens Last Call: 6 pm
