In September, 2011 our organization challenged the way we did everything and we began to think differently about how we could deliver services. We recognized that we needed to make some changes to be better, moved towards less traditional facility based services.
Today, our services are built around what the individual needs and wants to become a valued citizen. We provide a broader range of support options as the individual’s choice is unlimited. Through promoting citizenship, valued social identities, supporting real relationships, and personal development first, we are able to connect with individuals and really get to know what they desire for their lives.
This process of getting to know people allows us to dig deeper than most. Now we find ways to be useful, providing purposeful support that helps create meaningful days.
We believe that every person has the right to an enriched life – making choices for themselves, having equal opportunities as others, contributing to and belonging in their own communities. This is how we have come to deliver our services.
