WELCOME TO CONVENTION!
The Canadian Progress Club Edmonton Downtown is pleased to welcome you to the CPC 2019 Western Convention held in downtown Edmonton at the Delta Centre Suites Hotel on June 21-22, 2019. Guests will have the option of arriving Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday morning, whichever best suits their schedule.
Friday evening guests will check-in at our registration desk, then everyone is encouraged to join us at a local bar downtown for a patio ‘Summer Solstice’ party. Fun and games will be planned to allow us to enjoy the sunshine on the longest day of the year!
Saturday programming is not scheduled to start until approximately noon. Guests arriving Saturday morning will check-in at the registration desk, then gather with the remainder of the convention-goers around noon for an education session over lunch. We will then move directly into the AGM.
Post AGM, guests will embark on an afternoon activity around Edmonton’s core. All are encouraged to bring bright clothing and cameras, as teams will be formed to race to be the first to complete a scavenger hunt through Edmonton’s downtown landmarks! Prizes will be awarded for winners, losers, and in-betweeners!
After the activity, guests will head back to the Delta to prepare for the evening portion – cocktails, followed by a dinner and dance with one of Edmonton’s top DJs.
